Newel Stair Caps for Newel Posts

These Caps are designed to fit onto an new or existing Newel Post with a flat top. The Caps are rebated on the underside to fit over 90mm Full, Half or Double Newel Posts.

All caps are supplied ready for you to apply your chosen finish unless otherwise specified.

Choose from the following timbers

• Scandinavian Pine – Softwood. A yellowish wood with knots and natural character. All knots are sound and live. Suitable for staining, varnishing or painting
• White Oak – Hardwood. Light brown clear timber with very small knot if any. Will turn golden brown when finishing in either oil, wax, stain or varnish.

We can also supply the following timbers, please contact us for price and availability

• Hemlock – Softwood. Light brown in colour. Naturally a clear material free of knots, however expect some black streak as natural character. Suitable for varnish, stain, oil or painting (please contact us direct for prices)
• White Primed – Timber core with high grade primer applied ready for top coat of paint (please contact us direct for prices)

Flat Style Newel Post Caps

• Full Cap measures 115mm x 115mm.
• Half Cap measures 56mm x 115mm.
• Double Cap measures 205mm x 115mm
• All Flat Style Caps have a 28mm depth.

Pyramid Style Newel Post Caps

• Full Cap measures 116mm x 116mm.
• Half Cap measures 56mm x 116mm.
• Double Cap measures 208mm x 116mm
• All Pyramid Style Caps have a 48mm depth.
