Contemporary Clearview Chrome Glass Clamp

These Chrome Clamps are designed to fit 8mm Toughened Glass Panels to the Clearview Pre-Grooved Oak Hand and Base Rail. 

The Contemporary Clearview Chrome Glass Clamps fix either Clearview Stair or Landing Panels to the rails 

Landing Panels are fitted with Clearview Chrome Brackets or the standard 8mm Chrome brackets

The handrail can be fixed to any flat faced newel post so you can save time and money by keeping your existing posts and just replace the rails and spindles with Contemporary Clearview Oak Rails and Glass Panels

The Contemporary Clearview Chrome Brackets fit neatly into the pre-grooved rails, minimising the amount of bracket that can be seen after installation. Brackets can be used on both the Rake or Landing Glass Panels and are screwed into place through the groove of the rail hiding the fixing

If you use the Standard 8mm Glass Brackets, then you can fix these Glass panels onto any Un-Grooved hand and Base Rail

Handrails can be fixed to the newel post using traditional mortise and tenon joints or using the Universal Handrail to Newel Post Zip Fix

Glass Panels are manufactured to BSEN12150 standards, suitable for domestic balustrade

Clearview Stair Glass Panels are suitable for domestic balustrade on a stair with a pitch between 38° and 45°

Staircase

• Hand and Base Rails – Measure the distance between newel posts to establish what length of rail you need. Stair rail and landing rail are the same profile so you can combine the two measurements
• Cleaview Glass Stair Panels – Measure the distance between the newel posts and deduct 99mm and divide this total by 389. Round up to the next full number to give the number of panels required
• Universal Handrail to Newel Post Fixing

Landing

• Hand and Base Rails – Measure the distance between newel posts to establish what length of rail you need. Stair rail and landing rail are the same profile so you can combine the two measurements
• Clearview Landing Panels – Measure the distance between the newel posts and deduct 99mm and divide this total by 309. Round up to the next full number to give the number of panels required
• Universal Handrail to Newel Post Fixing

Building Regulations

Handrail heights on the staircase are measured from the front bullnose of a step to the top of the handrail.

Gaps in between Glass must not allow a sphere 100mm in diameter to pass between two Panels
