Wall Mounted Handrails
Many staircases are fully enclosed with walls on both sides, meaning a wall mounted handrail is the only option to provide support and safety on the staircase.
On wider staircases, they may be a requirement, in homes where there are elderly or physically challenged individuals an additional handrail on the wall opposite the balustrade can be a useful feature to increase confidence and safety when using the stairs.
Handrails in Kit form
Blueprint offer additional handrails from both our Fusion and Immix ranges in Kit form. Available in 3.6m kits these easy to assemble boxed rail kits make it easy to add a secondary handrail to any home.
Bespoke Handrail to match your stairs
If you want to match an additional wall mounted handrail to the bannister you have chosen from us as part of your main stair project, then our sales team can help make a bespoke kit for you. Phone us today for more information.

Juliet Balconies
Whether it’s the warmer weather or a move to a more continental styling, adding a Juliet balcony to a house or apartment has become very popular in recent years. Inspired by our popular Fusion range of products, Richard Burbidge has created the Juliet system featuring the same combination of metal, timber and glass. The system features different sized glass panels and range of handrail options to allow you to build your balcony exactly the way you would like.
For an additional alternative look, our Juliet balcony can be installed with a metal handrail in place of the timber or even simply with no handrail at all, with the extra glass panel option.
The easy-to-fit system is assembled into one piece that can then be lifted to the wall and secured using our specially designed fixing brackets, saving time on site. The Juliet balcony system has been tested by FIRA to resist loadings of 0.74kN/m in line with building regulations.
